The state government has decided to impose curfew in the whole of the state from Tuesday 5 pm onwards in the wake of threat of Corona virus till further orders.
The decision was taken by the state government after a review meeting presided over by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.
After the meeting CM said district level coordination committees have been constituted for effective coordination with the district administration and to ensure availability of essential commodities.
Chief Minister has directed the officers to ensure availability of essential commodities in the State, besides ensuring other basic needs during the curfew. He said effective steps are being taken to check hoarding of essential commodities in the State.
Meanwhile a spokesman of Food and Civil Supplies Department said the state government has decided to distribute wheat flour and rice to families covered under National Food Security Act (NFSA) for the month of April and May immediately. The state government has also decided to distribute hand sanitizers and masks in every gram panchayat of the state.
