Four persons lost their lives and six others were injured after two trucks collided near tunnel no 12 on Mandi – Kullu Highway near Pandoh on Thursday morning.
SP Mandi Vinod Kumar said , “ A truck number PB11DQ1249 was on its way to Kullu from Mandi side when it had head-on collision with another truck HP -33C1730 coming from Kullu side near tunnel number 12; four persons travelling in the trucks namely Shakeel (20) a resident of Bijnor (UP), Vishal (21) a resident of Gazipur (UP) , Meghnath (30) a resident of Champaran ( Bihar) and Ravi Kumar (22) a resident of village Kandipur ( UP), died .”
Six others injured in the accident are being treated at Government Hospital, Kullu and Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri Medical College, Ner Chowk.
