Two tourists from Delhi lost their lives when a shooting stone hit them on Saturday at Yula Kanda, in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, while climbing a hill to pay obeisance in Shri Krishna temple on the occasion of Janmashtami.

 Superintendent of Police (SP)  Kinnaur , Abhishek Shekhar said, “ Two tourists died after a shooting stone hit them at Yual Kanda, the deceased have been identified as  Rashmi Ram (25) and Prasheel Baghmare (27), both residents of Delhi.”

According to a report both the devotees were climbing a hill to visit famous Shri Krishna temple Yula Kanda but were hit by a shooting stone on their way to the temple.

The Police said, “Bodies of the victims were taken to Bhaba Nagar hospital for postmortem and their families have been informed about the incident.”

Kinnaur district administration has warned the tourists to visit high hills during the rainy season and observe all precautions.
