The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended the name of Ajay Kumar Sharma, presently General Manager, Corporate HR in Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVNL), for the post of Director (Personnel) SJVN.
A company release said, “Sharma was selected following a rigorous interview process held on May 24, 2024 out of eleven applicants; he has been working in the HR department of SJVNL in Shimla Head Office since October 2009 and also worked for Steel Authority of India Ltd.”
He hails from a small village Khargat in Sihunta subdivision of Chamba District, had his early education in his village school and did his mechanical engineering degree from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore.
