Former Bilaspur Congress MLA Bambar Thakur was injured in an attack by certain people on Friday outside the office of a construction company near Nauni in Bilaspur district on Friday morning.
A police source said, “Thakur had gone to the office of a railway construction company near Nauni and had heated arguments with some contractors over allocation of woks and was later attacked by them outside the office injuring him and his son.”
The police have registered an FIR in the case under sections 147,148,149, 323 and 307 of IPC and arrested Manjeet Singh of Bagi village, Nand Lal of village Bagi Banola, Gaurav Kumar of Diara Sector Bilapsur, Saurabh Patial of village Naswal Ghumarvin, Pradeep Kumar of village Dhuankothi, Suraj of Panjgain and Kulbhushan of Chandpur.
