After termination of senior project engineer of four laning of National Highway no 5- Kaithlighat to Dhalli, by the management of the LN –Malviya Infra Projects Ltd, for his alleged failure in implementing the project , has raised question mark on the quality of the work undertaken in widening Kiratpur- Ner Chowk Highway project .
The senior project engineer Jitender Kumar Singh, the team leader of the project was recently removed from his services by the company management for alleged “failure to perform the duties.”
“Since the project engineer was also heading the team constructing the Kiratpur – Ner Chowk Highway project, question marks have been raised on the quality of work, more so, since the Highway was badly damaged at many places during the last monsoon flooding, last year.”
State president of Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Panchayati Raj Sangathan has accused “the said senior project engineer for allegedly compromising with the quality of the construction and material used for the construction.”
He alleged, “We have been raising this issue for long and his termination by the company has proved our allegations.”
The project manager was not available for his comments; however the National Highway Authority has denied the allegation of compromise in the construction quality.
