Himachal Pradesh government is starting e-auction of fancy numbers for motor vehicle’s special registration of 0001 series from December 4.
Director Transport, Anupam Kashyap said , “ The transport department would start e -auction for fancy numbers for HP63F-0001 ( RTO Shimla), HP33G-0001 ( RTO Mandi) and HP68C-0001(RTO Kangra) series from December 4 and people desirous of availing this opportunity can apply by visiting the website of the department .”
He said , “ The applicant should be a resident of Himachal or have proof of doing business in the state and will have to apply by paying a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2000 by making a minimum bid of Rs 5 lakh,for which Rs 1.5 lakh will have to be deposited in advance .”
“The Registration of applications will start from 10:00 AM on December 4 and close at 5 pm on December 9, the result of the e-auction would be announced on December 10”; the successful bidder will have to deposit the entire bid amount by December 13 for allotment of the desired number ”, he added.
