Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has decided to continue existing restriction in the state till June 14 to check speared of COVID-19.
The meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur held at Shimla on Saturday has also decided to cancel 10+2 examination to be conducted by HP Board of School Examination. It has instructed the HP Board to devise a formula for calculating awards of the students to promote them as per CBSE formula.
It was decided that in case some students are not satisfied with the results declared by the HP Board they would be allowed to take exams after improvement in situation.
The State Cabinet has decided to ensure telephonic consultation for Covid-19 patients discharged from hospitals and asked the health department to look for options to procure more vaccines directly from the manufacturers.
Earlier, the Cabinet passed a resolution mourning the sad demise of Chief Whip and MLA from Jubbal-Kotkhai Narinder Bragta. The Cabinet appreciated his contribution towards development of horticulture in the state and observed two minutes silence to pay him tributes.
