Himachal Pradesh Government has relaxed timing for opening shops and establishments in the state as they would remain open for five hours from 9 am to 2 pm for five days a week from May 31. This was decided in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at Shimla on Friday.
A government spokesman said, “The government offices in the state would also start functioning with thirty percent attendance, however offices having four employees would operate normally.”
He said, “It has been decided shops selling milk, bread and medicine would remain open throughout the week, however schools would remain closed and public transport suspended till further orders and all other restrictions would remain enforced.”
