Himachal government has decided to inoculate people between 18 to 44 years and all government employees free of cost in government hospitals.
This decision was taken in a Cabinet meeting held on Thursday to review the COVID-19 situation in the state chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.
The government has also decided to constitute mobile teams at block level to provide better treatment to COVID patients in home isolation, besides providing one ambulance to exclusively shift the patients.
It has also been decided every medical college would have a team headed by a senior doctor to look after COVID patients, provide nutritional kits for the patients and an incentive of Rs 200 per shift for outsourced employees engaged in COVID care.
The Cabinet decided to regularize the services of daily /contingent workers who have completed five years of continuous services as on March 31st or completing on September 30, 2021 against the available vacant posts.
It also gave its nod to regularize the services of contractual employees who have completed three years of services as on March 31st or completing on September 30, 2021.
The Cabinet decided to convert the services of part time workers completing eight years of continuous services on March 31st or completing on September 30, 2021 to daily wagers.
The government has decided to fill up 19 posts of technical and ministerial staff in the State Seri Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Centre Balichowki and fill up two posts in BDO offices and open an ITI at Baroti.
Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues have also contributed their one month salaries towards Chief Minister COVID Fund and handed over cheques to Chief Secretary Anil Khachi.
