In a major administrative reshuffle, the state government y transferred 17 IAS officers and assigned additional charges to several of them; besides transferring 22 HAS officers in Himachal Pradesh.
As per a notification issued on Friday by the state government Principal Secretary Sudha Devi, who had served as Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, for the past three and a half years, has been transferred and given the key departments of Forest and Industries. She will continue to hold the charge of the Personnel Department.
Secretary, Digital Technologies and Governance, and Secretary to the Chief Minister, Ashish Singhmar, has been given the additional charge of the Health and Family Welfare Department.
Additional Chief Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, R.D. Nazeem, who also held the charge of Transport and Industries, has been transferred as Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Vigilance, and MPP & Power, relieving Chief Secretary Kamlesh Pant and Secretary to the Chief Minister Rakesh Kanwar of these respective charges.
Additional Chief Secretary, Tribal Development, Onkar Sharma, who was sidelined after he allegedly refused to change his status report in the Chief Engineer Vimal Negi’s mysterious death case, has been given the additional charge of the Transport Department.
The government has also posted Himachal Administrative Services (HAS) Officer Sachin Kanwal, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister, as the Commissioner of the Shimla Municipal Corporation.
HAS officer Gain Sagar Negi, Registrar , HP University has been posted as Additional District Magistrate (Protocol ) Shimla in place of Jyoti Rana now posted as Registrar of HPU Shimla. Sixteen other HAS officers have also been transferred.
