Masuam Vigyan Kendra Shimla of The Indian Meteorology Department has predicted a fresh spell of heavy to very heavy rains in many parts of Himachal, beginning tomorrow i. e from August 22 to 25.
As per information shared by the center on its official website the possibility of isolated spells of heavy to very heavy rain have been predicted in many parts of Kangra , Chamba, Mandi, Kullu , Shimla , Sirmaur, Solan , Kinnaur and Lahaul – Spiti districts of the state.
The Centre has warned of disruption in traffic and essential supplies as a result of flash floods at many places in these districts. The precipitation would subside from August 26 resulting in moderate to light rains.
