Son of six times former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Public Works Development (PWD) Minister in Himachal Pradesh government Vikramaditya Singh has warned a bureaucrat of the state government, without naming him, “Not to cross lakashman rekha.”

Talking to media persons at Shimla in HP secretariat on Saturday, the minister said “I hold bureaucracy in very high esteem but want to warn one bureaucrat in strong words, crossing lakshman rekha by anyone wouldn’t be tolerated as proposals sent by us to Delhi are being changed as soon as the files cross Parwanu border.”

The minister said, “This wouldn’t be tolerated at any cost as we are elected public representatives and bureaucrats should not try to dictate us, and if someone thinks our voice can be gagged it wouldn’t be allowed; I would also take up this issue with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu”, he added.
