CM Jai Ram Thakur addressing a virtual rally

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur laid foundation stones and inaugurated various developmental projects worth about Rs 45 crore in Sunder Nagar Assembly constituency of Mandi district through video conferencing from Shimla on Tuesday.

Chief Minister laid foundation stones of Sunder Nagar-Bina road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 7.18 crore, horticulture rest house at Harabag to be built at the cost of Rs 2.85 crore, building of additional block at PWD rest house Sunder Nagar costing Rs 3.97 crores and foundation stone of Rs 22.24 crore lift irrigation scheme for Sunder Nagar town.

He also laid the foundation stone of additional block of PWD Rest House Sunder Nagar to be completed at a cost of Rs 3.97 crore and augmentation of Lift Irrigation Scheme for Sunder Nagar town to be completed by spending   Rs 22.24 crore, which would benefit about 21,000 people.”

Adressing people on this occasion through a virtual rally from Shimla, Chief Minister said, “Developmental projects worth Rs 500 crore are being executed in Sunder Nagar assembly constituency out of which Rs 200 crore schemes are implemented by Jal Shakti department, Rs 100 crore project are being implemented by PWD department and Rs. 12 crore are being spent for constructing mother child hospital building”.

Thakur said, “All developmental projects of which foundation stones laid by him would be completed in stipulated time period and adequate funds would be made available for the projects.”

 CM said, “The State at one stage was about to become COVID free but the rate of positive people has risen sharply after the return of natives back home and people should take every precaution to save them from COVID 19.”

Jal Shakti Minister Mahender Singh Thakur present on the occasions said, “It is honour for the people of Mandi district to have Chief Minister of the State from their district and every area in district is getting adequate funds for development.”

Sunder Nagar MLA Rakesh Jamwal thanked the Chief Minister for his continued support for developing the Sunder Nagar Assembly constituency.
