BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda has been given extension till June 2024. The announcement to this effect was made by Home Minister Amit Shah in a press conference at New Delhi on Tuesday during the national executive meeting of the party. JP Nadda was elected national president of BJP in June 2019 and his term was coming to end in January 2023.
The extension to JP Nadda is quite significant as BJP would be facing Assembly election in nine states in 2023 and Parliament Election in 2024 as BJP leadership has reposed faith in his leadership once again.
