Seven tourists traveling in a Traveler Tempo have lost their lives and ten others injured after the tempo fell into a deep gorge in Jhalod nullah near Ghiyagi on Banjar – Jalodi -Jot road Sunday night at about 8.30 PM.
SP Kullu Gurdev Chand Sharma said, “A group of tourists comprising professionals and students were coming towards Banjar in a vehicle UP14HT8242 which rolled down a hill and fell into the gorge at about 8.30 PM.”
He said , “ Four passengers had died on the spot while three succumbed to injuries on way to hospital, ten injured have been admitted in District Hospital who are out of danger; the deceased include three girls” .
