The Himachal Pradesh government has closed the schools further in the state till September 21 in view of COVID situation.
A notification to this regard issued by Chief Secretary –cum- chairman SEC Ram Subhag Singh said, “All schools in the state would continue to remain closed till September 21 except the residential schools; however the teaching and non- teaching staff would attend the schools.”
The notification said, “All residential schools would follow the SOP issued for the COVID behavior and any violation of COVID behavior norms would invite penal action under section 51-60 of Disaster Management Act 2005 and Section 188 of IPC.”
