Himachal Pradesh Cabinet held on Friday chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has recommended to the Governor of the state to hold Budget Session of Himachal State Assembly from February 26 to March 20, with seventeen sittings.
It decided, “All government educational institutions in Sarkaghat Sub Division would open from February 8 and if any teacher, employee or student is found Covid positive in any educational institution the institution would remain closed for 48 hours and opened after sanitization. Class 6 and 7 students would also attend school from February 15, online classes would continue for class 1 to 4 students, mid day meals would not be served in the schools and dry ration would be given. The academic session 2021-22 would commence from April 1.”
The Cabinet also decided to allot 20 kanals one marla land of industries department at Tahliwal for setting up Haroli Industrial Infrastructure Development Society, for a period of 30 years on lease of Rs 1 per square meter annually for setting up General Engineering Cluster.
The Cabinet gave its nod to deploy 30 Home Guards volunteers on daily basis in Baddi District Police for strengthening law, order and traffic system.
It also gave its consent for framing Himachal Pradesh Taxation (on Certain Goods Carried by Road) Rules 2021 by repealing the rules made in 1993 to make all payments of taxes, demand or any other sum through electronic mode in addition to manual mode.
It decided to provide one modern ambulance in every medical college for three months to be operated by M/s GVK EMRI.
The Cabinet decided to notify the draft right of way policy- 2021 for transparent and time bound process for giving approvals for setting up telecom infrastructure.
It has decided to fill 150 posts of drivers and operators through the process of limited direct recruitment, 50 posts of Frash – cum- Chowkidar –cum – Mali through direct recruitment and outsource 28 posts of sweepers in HP Secretariat.
The Cabinet gave its approval to appoint 10 clerks and 7 class-IV employees in Health and Family Welfare Department on compassionate ground and fill up 5 posts of drivers in Information and Public Relations Department.
The Cabinet gave its nod for Himachal Pradesh Water Sports and Allied Activities Draft Rules, 2021 and Himachal Pradesh Miscellaneous Adventure Activities (Amendment) Rules, 2021 for ensuring safety measures during adventure activities. The Cabinet also approved Himachal Pradesh Aero Sports Rules-2020 to promote aero sports activities in the State.
