The Doctors of Center for Excellence in Cardiac Sciences (Ivy hospital), Mohali, have claimed to provide the latest techniques in cardiac surgery in the region.
Talking to media persons at Mandi, Additional Director of the center Dr Rakesh Sharma and consultant Dr Ishant Singla said , “ The Ivy hospital has become Center for Excellence in cardiac sciences and Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery is the latest technique introduced for the cardiac surgery at the center; the surgery through this technique is performed by couple of specialized tiny keyholes and the patient is discharged from the hospital with tow three days as there is no bone cutting , minimum blood loss .”
They said , “ The hospital is empanelled with Himachal government , CGHS, ECHS and many other government institutions .”
In reply to a question , the Doctors said , “ The minimum cost of the Minimally Invasive Surgery is nearly Rs 4.5 lakhs.”
