Himachal Pradesh government has increased wages and honorarium of different categories in the state .
Making this announcement on Wednesday at Shimla, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said, “The honorarium of Mid -Day Meal Workers has been increased to Rs 4500 per month, honorarium of SMC and C&V teachers raised to Rs 16009, SMC lecturers and DPE’s salary increased to Rs 19378 per month; SMC TGTs will now get e Rs. 19,378 per month, SMC JBTs will now get Rs. 13,762 per month and water carriers would now receive Rs. 5,500 per month.”
He said, “Daily wage of daily wagers and part-time workers have been increased Rs. 425 per day, honorarium of stitching instructors and panchayat chowkidars has been enhanced by Rs. 500 and Rajasva Chowkidars will now get Rs. 6,300, while 3,304 Lambardars will receive Rs. 4,500 per month.”
The government has also increased the honorarium of the representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies, Zila Parishad Chairperson will now receive Rs. 25,000 per month, Vice Chairperson Rs 19,000, Zila Parishad Members will now get Rs. 8,300, Panchayat Samiti Chairperson will get Rs 12000 PM , Vice Chairman to get Rs 9000 , Zila Parishad members will get Rs 7500 PM , Gram Panchayat Pradhan will be paid Rs 7500 per month, Up- Praddhan will receive Rs 5100 PM and Panchayat members will be paid Rs 2100 per month.
The honorarium of the Mayor of the Municipal Corporation has also been raised to Rs. 25,000, that of Deputy to Rs. 19,000 and Councilor’s to Rs. 9,400 PM,
The Chairperson of the Municipal Council will now receive Rs. 10,800, Vice Chairman Rs 8900 and councilors will be paid Rs 4500 per month.
The Nagar Panchayat Pradhan will now get Rs. 9,000, Up-Pradhan Rs. 7,000 and members will be given Rs 4,500 per month.
The State Government has also increased the honorarium of Special Police Officers by Rs. 300, IT teachers by Rs. 500 per month and outsources teachers will be paid Rs 12750 PM.
