The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the date for the Assembly election in Bihar .
Announcing the election schedule of the Bihar Assembly polls in New Delhi on Monday, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar said, “ Bihar will vote in just two phases – on November 6 and 11 and the results will be announced on November 14; Of the state’s 243 seats, 121 will vote in the first phase and the rest in the second”, he added .
The Bihar Assembly election has drawn much attention as Bihar elections are quite crucial for the ruling NDA and the opposition INDIA block parties are making a determined effort to capture power in the state.The Nitish Kumar government has ruled the state for quite long and the opposition alliance led by Tejaswi Yadav had narrowly missed the bus in the last Assembly election by a narrow margin .
