Two persons have lost thier lives and one is reportedly missing after a flash flood caused by cloud burst in Jail Road area of Mandi town on Tuesday morning at about 3 am.
A resident of Tungal colony said,” Due to incessant rains last night water level in the adjacent nullah started rising and later it started gushing in the residential area damaging houses.”
DC Mandi Apoorv Devgan after getting the information rushed to the sight to monitor rescue operation. “
There was a landslide near Jail Road, hospital road and a few more areas and JCB were deployed to clear the roads.
Manali – Chandigaŕh National Highway was also closed with landslide at 4 mile near Pandoh.
