National President of BJP, JP Nadda, State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal, on Wednesday accompanied by former CM Jai Ram Thakur. visited food affected areas of Seraj and Nachan Assembly constituencies.
During the visit they went to Sainj- Pangliur Baga of Nachan, where nine people and a family were washed away in flash floods on June 30, expressing their condolences they also distributed relief material.
JP Nadda said, “People are facing a lot of difficulties due to the natural disaster but we should not lose courage and be ready to stand again and assure them of every possible help from the Central government.”
Later, Nadda also visited Thunag and Bagsyad and met the disaster affected people and heard stories of their pain and agony.
Jairam Thakur said, “ Union Health Minister JP Nadda has assured the Central Government will provide support for rehabilitation of the affected people and rebuilding destroyed infrastructure in the area ; during the flood fury in 2023, the Central Government had given about Rs 5100 crore for relief measures , besides gave assistance to build 93000 houses in the state .”
The Central Government presently has deployed the Army, Air Force, ITBP, NDRF, and helicopters made available immediately for relief and rescue measures and do everything to help affected people in Himachal Pradesh .
Jai Ram Thakur shared details of losses with the national president and urged to provide maximum help.
