Thirty two passengers travelling in a private bus were injured on Friday morning near Namohal on Bilaspur – Shimla road after the bus met with an accident.

The private bus belonging to Gudiya Transport Company, carrying devotees from Nurmahal (Punjab) was on its way  to Darlaghat, when it overturned near Namohal after the driver of the bus lost control while negotiating a curve.

Injured in the accident have been admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) hospital Bilaspur and are under treatment. The driver of the bus also injured in the accident was taken to civil hospital Markanda for treatment.

 Chief Minister Sukhjvinder Singh Sukhu,  accompanied by Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani, visited AIIMS on Friday to inquire about the well being of the injured in the bus accident .

He also interacted with the injured and assured them all help and assistance from the state government,  and directed the hospital administration to ensure prompt and best possible medical care to the injured.

 Acting promptly, Bilaspur district administration helped in providing immediate medical relief to patients to the injured, besides providing interim relief.
