Himachal Pradesh state BJP President Rajiv Bindal is set to retain the post for another term.
With the starting of the election process on Monday, Dr Bindal was the only candidate filing his nomination papers for the organizational election at state BJP office, Shimla.
Bindal submitted his nomination papers in the presence of national Vice President of the party Saudan Singh, state BJP in-charge Shrikant Sharma, former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and other party leaders.
He will be formally announced as Himachal BJP President on Tuesday.
