Himachal Pradesh government has relieved senior IAS officer Abhishek Jain from the post of Secretary (Home, Vigilance and Information Technology) on the directions of Election Commission of India (ECI).
The ECI on Monday directed to relieve Home Secretaries of six states including Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Home Secretary is also holding the charge of secretary to HP CM.
A notification issued by Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena relieved Mr. Jain from the charge of Secretary Home,Vigilance and Secretary to the CM.
