Himachal Pradesh State Cabinet has decided to start Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgar Start up Yojna phase (11) for setting Solar Power Projects for the youths of 21 years to 45 years in the state.
The meeting held at Shimla on Monday presided over by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu envisaging Green Initiative of HP government decided to focus on installation of the solar power plants ranging from 100 KW to 500 KW for providing self employment to youths and contributing for achieving renewable energy targets set by the state government, besides stimulating economic growth.
A government spokesman said, “The entrepreneurs setting up the solar plants would earn a monthly income of nearly Rs 20000 for 25 years from generation of 100 KW, Rs 40000 from 200 KW plant and nearly Rs one lakh from 500 KW plant; the beneficiaries will have to invest 10 percent of total expenses of installation,as a security to secure 70 percent loans from the bank while 30 percent of the cost would be paid by the state government”, he added.
The Cabinet also approved the start of Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar initiative from January 8 to February 12.
