One person lost his life and 18 others were injured after a private bus on the way to Mandi from Jahu rolled down a hill near Patdighat on Tuesday morning, when the driver lost control over the bus on a slippery road.
As per information “One of the passengers, identified as Rajveer from Hathwad, died on the spot.”
A team from Hatli police post immediately rushed to the spot to take up rescue and relief operations.
A large number of locals reached the accident site on getting the information and helped victims to pull passengers from the mangled bus and take them to the nearest hospital.
The local administration, along with emergency medical teams helped the injured on the accident site itself and rushed the injured to hospital after giving medical firsts –aid. The condition of some passengers is reportedly serious.
