Rakesh Chaudhary, who contested Assembly elections three times for Dharamshala Vidhan Sabha seat, ended his life by reportedly taking some poisonous substance.
A police source said, “Chaudhary was brought to Dr Rajendra Prasad Medical College Tanda in a serious condition on Monday night along with his wife and died on Tuesday morning.”
The Kangra police said , “ He had taken some poisonous substance at his place last night and a portion of which went into the mouth of his wife during her effort to snatch it from him; however his wife is recovering in the hospital .”
