Himachal Pradesh government has decided to pay salaries to state government employees for the month of September on October 1st and pension to pensioners on October 9.
A Spokesperson of the state government said, “After review of the cash flow in the state treasury by the finance department, it has been decided the salary to the government employees for the month of September would be disbursed on October 1st while pensions would be paid on October 9.”
He said,” The salaries for the month of August were released on September 5 and pensions on September 10 to utilize financial resources judiciously; the state government is actively working to minimize the gap between receipts and expenditures to ensure timely borrowing for reducing the interest burden on state loans,” he added.
