Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath as Indian Prime Minister for the third consecutive term at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi on Sunday .
President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to PM Modi and his Cabinet colleagues, senior BJP leaders Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and Amit Shah, among others .
BJP president JP Nadda, who hails from Himachal Pradesh, also took oath as a Cabinet Minister and has returned to the Cabinet after five years. However, outgoing Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur has not found a place in the first list of ministers .
PM Modi (73) is the second Prime Minister, after the first Prime Minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru, to become the Indian PM for the third consecutive term. He was elected the PM in 2014 and in 2019.
