The long-awaited formation of the Himachal Pradesh Cabinet is likely to be delayed for another week.
After Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu had left for New Delhi amidst Winter Session of Himachal Pradesh Assembly at Dharamshala on Thursday, the media was full of reports about formation of Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s Cabinet on Saturday itself.
There were reports the new Cabinet Ministers would take oath on Saturday as Himachal Pradesh Governor Rajender Vishwanath Arlekar would be out of Shimla for a few days from January 7 onwards.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu after returning to Shimla from New Delhi on Saturday said, “I had consultations with Congress leadership at New Delhi and have submitted a list of MLAs to be inducted into the State Cabinet to All India Congress Committee president Malikarjun Khadge; as soon as Congress High Command gives its nod the State cabinet would be formed.”
The formation of State Cabinet is giving anxious moments to aspirant MLA, s and people of the state as more than 25 days have elapsed since Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihorti were sworn in on December 11.
