President of BJP Jagat Prakash Nadda during his tour of Sirmaur district on Saturday said, “The issue of giving tribal status to people of Hatti area of Sirmaur district would be resolved soon by the Central government and the Hatti community would be benefited by the decision.”
While addressing a large gathering at Paonta Sahib, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and JP Nadda talked about progress made in the State and at Centre during BJP’s regime.
In his address the CM said, “Himachal Pradesh has emerged as frontrunner state of the country in progress made in different fields and this feat has been achieved due to hard work and contribution of double engine governments at the Centre and the state; the people of the state are fortunate that Nadda, a son of soil is heading BJP- the largest party of the world.”
Addressing the gathering JP Nadda thanked the people of Sirmaur for their rousing welcome and said, “Under able leadership of Prime Minister Narender Modi and Chief Minister Jai Thakur the country and the state have made tremendous progress.”
He said, “ The BJP is committed to come true to the expectations of people as it is a proactive government and would make India a vishav guru; the state government headed by Jai Ram Thakur is also poised to become a most progressing state.”
Jagat Prakash Nadda also urged to follow five promises listed by the Prime Minister from the Red Fort during his address on the Independence Day.
He said, “While it took several years to develop vaccines for many diseases, India could develop a vaccine against COVID-19 within a very short time with the efforts of the Prime Minister.”
The BJP president also highlighted achievements of the Central government in different fields and said , “ The AIIMS Bilaspur being built with the cost of Rs 1300 crore was sanctioned during the BJP government , four medical colleges at Nahan, Hamirpur , Ner chowk and Chamba were also opened in Himachal .”
He accused Congress leaders “For misleading the people of the state with an eye on elections and also narrated several follies of the UPA government.”
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur also highlighted various development schemes and welfare measures taken to benefit people. Several BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
