Him Academy School Hamirpur celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm on Saturday to mark the birth anniversary of great educationist, eminent philosopher and former President of India, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan at its Viakas Nagar campus.
The function began with a glowing tribute to Dr. Radhakrishnan, besides students expressing gratitude to their teachers by highlighting the invaluable role of teachers in shaping young minds and inspiring them to achieve their dreams.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Sh. T. R. Sharma, along with Chairperson Prof. R. C. Lakhanpal, Vice Chairperson Mrs. C. P. Lakhanpal, and Principal Er. Naina Lakhanpal, Principal Academics Dr. Himanshu Sharma, Administrative Officer Mr. Prakrit Lakhanpal, Ms. Vanshika Sharma, Headmistress Mrs. Kanchan Lakhanpal and Vice Principal Mr. Ashwani Kumar. The programme was coordinated by Activity In-charge Ms. Neha Sharma.
A special highlight of the celebration was the Teachers’ Honouring Ceremony, where teachers were recognized for their exceptional contribution to competitive examination coaching and outstanding student performance. A cash reward of Rs 1, 22000 was given to 10 teachers of the school for their sustained efforts, academic guidance and significant contribution towards helping students to excel in competitive examinations

Sandeep Sharma (PGT Physics), Sanjay Thakur (PGT Mathematics), Sunny Verma (PGT Chemistry), Shivani Thakur (PGT Physics), and Arti Devi (PGT Biology) were given cash prizes. .
