HP Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said the Class-III pensioners would receive 30 percent of their pension arrears, while Class-I and Class-II pensioners would receive 15 percent of their pension arrears in October this year, which will also be applicable to pensioners who retired between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2022.
The CM said this while addressing a meeting with the Himachal Pradesh Pensioners’ Joint Front on Monday at Shimla.
He said, “ The state government was aware of the issues being faced by pensioners and employees and making earnest efforts to resolve them and releasing financial benefits to employees and pensioners from time to time, he state government will also release another installment of Dearness Allowance (DA) in the coming time” , he added.
The CM said, “Directions have been issued to all departments to clear pending medical reimbursement claims of pensioners and arrears of all pensioners above 65 years of age have already been cleared by the government”.
