At least seven passengers travelling in a private bus have lost their lives and eleven others injured in a bus accident near Chalunj Mor of Bairagarh in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh.
SP Chamba Vijay Saklani said, “The private bus carrying about 25 passengers overturned near Bairagarh on Saturday morning, seven persons have died in the accident and eleven others injured, who are being treated in Chamba hospital.”
He said, “The information about the accident was received in the morning after which police teams were rushed to the spot for relief and rescue operation.”
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over the loss of seven lives in the accident and directed the Chamba district administration to provide all assistance to next of kin of the deceased and ensure immediate treatment of all the injured .”
