The three-day 25th Inter-CPSU Kabaddi Tournament was organized by Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) at its 412 MW RHPS and was conducted under the aegis of the Power Sports Control Board.
Director (Personnel), Ajay Kumar Sharma of SJVN was the chief guest of the closing ceremony of the tournament and also gave away prizes to the winners.
In his address, Sharma said, “SJVN has always been committed to promoting sports and encouraging athletes as we firmly believe sports not only strengthen the physical health of employees but also enhance their mental well-being and leadership capabilities essential for the success of any organization”.
He said, “Such events play a significant role in supporting the Government of India initiatives like ‘Khelo India’ and the ‘Fit India Movement’ and congratulated the organizers for successfully organizing the tournament.
Sharma also presented trophies, medals and certificates to the winning and runner-up teams. The final match was played between SJVN and BBMB, where BBMB emerged as the winner of the tournament.
Chairman and Managing Director (SJVN) Bhupinder Gupta has also congratulated the winning BBMB team and praised all participants for their performance.
