Four passengers traveling in a car lost their lives on Saturday, when the car (HP- 26B-8999), in which they were travelling, fell into a deep gorge in Nichar sub- division of Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
The accident occurred near Jani village at about 9 am in the morning, after the driver lost control over the car.
SP Kinnaur Sushil Kumar said, “The district police received information about the accident around 9.20 am, four occupants of the car died on the spot while one passenger was taken to a nearby hospital.”
He said , “ The deceased have been identified as Krishna (42), Sushma (47), wife of Roshan Lal, Himesh Kumar (19), son of Naresh Kumar and Inder Lal (30), son of Hari Lal; and a rescue team, along with locals, rushed to the spot near Jani village, where they recovered the bodies and rescued the injured person, “ he said .
