The Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) is observing Vigilance Awareness Week -2025 from October 27 to November 2, throughout all its projects and units on the directions of Vigilance Commission of India.
Director (Personnel), of SJVN Ajay Kumar Sharma said, “The Vigilance Awareness Week in all units and offices of the SJVN is being observed by administering oaths to every employee pledging integrity and maintaining transparency.”
Speaking on commencement of the Vigilance Awareness Week at SJVN Headquarter at Shimla, he said, “Observing Vigilance Awareness Week every year helps in creating awareness among employees and public, fostering greater sensitivity towards ethical conduct and upholding the highest standards of integrity and transparency in both personal and professional domains and encouraged everyone to actively participate in the vigilance initiatives to join the collective fight against corruption.”
SJVN is also conducting a three-month-long Vigilance Awareness Campaign from August 16 to November 27 and focusing on various preventive vigilance measures through in-house and outreach activities such as capacity building sessions, quizzes, painting and rangoli competitions etc.
The objective of these programmes is to promote awareness and spread the message of building a corruption-free India and fostering national development.
