A private Volvo bus caught fire on the Chandigarh– Manali National Highway near Sunder Nagar on Monday.
As per the information, the bus was on its way from Delhi to Manali when passengers travelling in the bus and the bus driver observed smoke. He immediately stopped the bus and warned the passengers, asking them to get down from the bus, averting a major accident.
Though police are investigating the case, as per the initial report, the bus caught fire due to some technical snag.
