The police have arrested two assailants involved in the shooting of Dhaba owner Pradeep Guleria from the Gagal area on Tuesday night and also recovered the weapon used in the crime.
SP Mandi Sakshi Verma said, “On the basis of a lead and camera footage, a police team arrested Mohammad Ajmal (25) and Aajam (19), both residents of Sujaru village of Muzzafar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh; both of them were doing aluminium fitting work and living in Dhangu village near Nerchowk in a rented accommodation for quite some time.”
Both of them had gone to a dhaba near Mandi to have food at about 12 pm on March 21, stole money from the cash bag and shot the owner with a revolver, seriously injuring him, and fled with a LED TV screen.
