Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has cancelled the class +2 paper of the English subject, scheduled to be held on Saturday (March 8) in all schools of the state, acting on a complaint of the opening of a packet containing the English question paper in Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS), Chowari of Chamba district.
In a notification issued in this regard on Friday, Secretary of the Board, Dr. Vishal Sharma, said, “An anonymous complaint has been received in the Board Office on Friday (March 7th) regarding the opening of the question paper of Class 10+2 of the English subject, annual examination March 2025, at GSSS Chowari, District Chamba.”
“Taking a serious view of the matter, the Board corroborated the facts of the complaint from the video clips in the Board office through the ‘Exam Mitra App, and the Board chairman decided to cancel the examination of class +2, English subject, at all examination centres established in the state; the fresh date of holding the examination shall be notified separately in due course,” he stated.
