
Sunishka Gupta, a brilliant daughter of Mandi, hailing from the village of Kummi in Balh Tehsil in Mandi district, has been selected by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, for awarding the University Gold Medal for Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Psychology Programme for standing first in the examination held in the academic session 2023-2024.
Sunishka Gupta’s father, DP Gupta said, in a communication sent to her , the registrar of the university informed, that the univeristy has invited her to receive the Gold Medal at the 38th Convocation, being organized at the convention center of IGNOU campus in New Delhi, on March 5th.
Sunishka Gupta is currently pursuing her master’s degree in mental health from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.
She had also scored perfect A1-10 CGPA percentile in her matriculation examination conducted by CBSE.
Sunishka Gupta’s father is a senior journalist, while her mother is a teacher. Her relatives, villagers, and well-wishers have congratulated her for the achievement.
