Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department Minister Vikramaditya Singh said, “I would like to tell Jai Ram Thakur that ‘Holy Lodge has the blessings of Maa Bhimakali and Lord Shri Ram, no one can deny the role of Holy Lodge in Congress politics due to love and affection of people of the state towards Late Virbhadra Singh – six time Chief Minister and tallest leader of Congress in Himachal Pradesh”.
PWD Minister was reacting to former CM Jai Ram Thakur’s statement made a day ago that “CM Sukhu wants Holy Lodge free Congress due to factionalism in the Congress party in the state.”
He said, “The blessings of the people of the state are with us and such assertions are just unfounded and there is no justification for Jai Ram Thakur for making such a statement; I respect him as a former Chief Minister of the state but he should not say such things,” he added.
Meanwhile HPCC President Pratibha Singh also refuted the statement of Jai Ram Thakur and said, “There is nothing like that, no one will dislodge anyone; there has to be complete coordination between the government and the Congress organization as we keep discussing issues from time to time.”
It is pertinent to mention here PWD Minister Vikrmaditya Singh had shown ignorance about the state level function being organized at Bilaspur on completion of two years of Congress government in Himachal Pradesh sometime back.
