Speculations are rife on social media about the proposed wedding of the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
The news has gone viral in social media posts and carried by a few vernacular newspapers, videos on YOUTube and Instagram, though official confirmation has not come from the Gandhi family or any other quarter .
The social media posts claim, “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is soon going to marry Praniti Shinde, daughter of former Union Home Minister and senior Congress leader from Maharashtra, Sushil Kumar Shinde,”
As per the posts, “Rahul Gandhi and Prianiti Shinde had met in a social function a few months back and were seen together during Bharat Zodo Yatra of Rahul Gandhi and reportedly meeting quite often.”
“Rahul Gandhi had reportedly conveyed about the marriage proposal to his mother Sonia Gandhi through his sister Priyanka Gandhi after which Sonia Gandhi talked to Shushil Kumar Shinde to seek affirmation from Praniti Shinde.”
Praniti Shinde is sitting MP from Sholapur parliamentary constituency of Maharashtra.
