The activists of Student Federation of India (SFI) held protest demonstrations at several places in the state against irregularities reported in NTA exams .
State President Anil Thakur and Secretary Dinit Denta said, “The protests were organized against the Modi government for large scale irregularities and alleged corruption in the conduct of competitive exams by National Testing Agency (NTA) during the Modi regime.”
They said, “The NTA has once again demonstrated its incompetence in conducting the national level exams after revelations of irregularities in conducting NEET exams with allegations of ‘paper selling’ and postponement of NET and PG NEET exams.”
The NTA which is directly under the control of the Ministry of Health is under the scanner of the Supreme Court of India for several irregularities.
SFI has demanded scrapping the NTA, resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and inquiry in the NEET exams by a Supreme Court monitored committee.
