An Inspector of Indo- Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) lost his life while trying to cross a river in Kaza sub-division of Lahaul- Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday evening.

A source from Kaza said , “ Fifty four personal of ITBP,  including an Inspector  were trying to cross Kargyupa Nalah as routine exercise on Thursday evening at about 4.30 pm , but unfortunately Inspector Chander Mohan was struck in the Nalah and was washed away in the gushing water ; his body was recovered 200 meters away in the Nalah.”
