Flash floods in the Gamabhar area of Solan district on Monday wreaked havoc as several vehicles and houses were damaged.
As per information the flash flood affected a portion near Gambhar Bridge and vehicular traffic was affected as slush and uprooted trees inundated Kunihar – Subathu road. A house also collapsed near the bridge .
Flash floods in Madgran nullah near Udaipur in Lahaul- Spiti and blocked Udaipur – Tindi road leaving dozens of vehicles stranded.
The flash flood on Monday morning occurred due to melting snow on high hills.
A team of Border Road Organization was engaged to clear the mud from the road to restore vehicular traffic.
