With the INDIA Alliance partners launching joint campaigns in the state for ensuing parliament and Assembly by-elections, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri held a meeting at Una on Tuesday to give pace to election campaigns jointly by INDIA Alliance partners in the coming days.
After holding a meeting of Congress, CPM and APP leaders at Una on Tuesday , Agnihotri said , “ The Leaders and workers of CPM and Aam Aadmi Party present in this meeting have decided have decided to support the Congress candidates in the ensuing Lok Sabha and assembly election to oppose the authoritarian and anti people policies of the Modi government ,”
He said, “ The way the BJP government at the Center has worked to provide benefits to the capitalists by waving loans of big industrialists and adopting anti-people policies, it has become need of the hour to support the Congress ,”
He said,” The winds of change are visible at the national level and people are fed up with the false promises of BJP leaders.”
District Congress President Ranjit Rana, Block President Vinod Bittu, CPM leaders Gurnam Singh, Vijay Sharma, KK Rana and AAP leader Ravindra Mann, among others were present in the meeting.
Meanwhile, Congress candidate from Mandi parliamentary constituency, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh has said, “This time an INDIA alliance government is going to be formed in the country and appealed to voters to defeat BJP in the election.”
