Himachal Pradesh government has appointed Dr Atul Verma, a 1991 batch IPS officer as Director General of Police (DGP) Himachal .
A notification to this effect was issued by Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena on Wednesday.
Verma, presently posted as Director General CID will replace Sanjay Kundu who retired on April 30.
